Native Grass Seed
The Jefferson Conservation District is now taking orders for our native grass seed mix designed specifically for our mountainous areas. This “Front Range Mix” is composed of seven native species that are designated for elevations of 6,000 to 10,000 feet. This seed is more drought tolerant than mixes containing non-native species, creates a natural look and provides revegetation without putting at risk to other native plant communities and wildlife.
